TOP 5 GOAN FISH THALI OPTIONS IN GOA

Hey hey hey!
Seems like a long time since I wrote a blog post out here because it has been a long time since I did!

I’m trying my best to make this a regular affair and I hope my efforts materialize more often than they did over the last couple of years. For those who follow me on Instagram, will surely know that I’ve been active at least on that platform and for those who haven’t yet, looking forward to finding a conversation with you in my DM!

Until the last day of this year, until 31st December 2019, which is roughly two and a half months from now, around 10 weeks, I’ll upload at least 10 blog posts, roughly one per week, primarily to make up for the lack of it since 2017.

BUT WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO BLOG ABOUT, ADARSH?

Well… I get asked a lot of questions (mostly food-related of course!) from people in my family, in my inner and outer circle of friends and professional networks as well. After observing “the most common questions” – I have a list of 5 or 7 new topics for the upcoming 10 weeks!

So here it goes.

First post is an answer to one of the most common questions asked to me by my FRIENDS:
Q: “WHERE SHOULD I EAT A GOAN FISH THALI IN GOA?”

RITZ CLASSIC
PANJIM, GOA | INR 280 FOR A FISH THALI

I had always heard about the iconic and legendary Ritz and their fish thali during my different culinary trips to #Goa, especially over the last decade, and I'm glad that I finally got a chance to go there this time! #BhookadRecommends their Fish Thali which usually comprises of two slices of surmai fry, a big bowl of #GoanPrawnCurry (which strangely had pieces of fish as well but I'm not complaining), batata mussels, sol kadi, kekda masala, tisrya masala, bangda curry and steamed rice. The dishes served with the thali might change as per availability with fresh catch of the day. The kheer was nothing great but the sukha jhinga kachumbar will not make you miss any other condiment or salad on the side for sure. At 280, definitely an economical authentic #Goan experience, a kind that perhaps everybody should definitely go for, at least once in their lifetime. Happy hogging! #fishthali #surmaifry #goanfood #goaritz #ritzclassic #ritzclassicgoa

The all new #GoanMenu at Tease inside @vivantagoapanaji serves a scrumptious fare of various authentic Goan preparations under a new brand called Goan Stories, including thali experiences that will leave you craving for more, for sure! At only INR 500 (plus taxes), their #seafoodthali comprises of a slice of surmai fry, some creamy and comforting Goan #prawncurry, a glass of chilled sol kadi, some fresh crab masala, dry jhinga, tisrya (clams) masala, a slice of bebinca and dodol with red rice, salad and a sabji too on the side. This was nothing short of a royal relishable experience and #BhookadRecommends all of you to go have this #fishthali for lunch or dinner during your next vacation in #Goa.
